Hi Max Wow, with a bit of luck I'll get this under control in time before I leave on Friday for a series of major events next week.;
The Render file you've "sent" me. Is it likely to be the same as the "nautical.render.xml" already in my device in "...../net.osmand.plus/fol;es/rendering" ? If not, should I:- Copy and past it into a text file, call it *nautical.render*, and ensure it is suffixed "xml", then copy it to the folder where the current "nautical.render.xml" is, having first copied the original "nautical.render.xml" to somewhere else in case I want to revert to it? Or could I just alter the relevant section of the existing "nautical.render.xml"? Either way, is it the section to be adjusted, the bit under "< renderingAttribute name="route">."? If so, what do I do to achieve my preferred red-dotted-line format? Adjustment to get knots instead of Km/hr - I deduce this is done in the routing file. Correct?
