I tried modifying one of the example custom plugin package as described in the
osmand blog. If I rename one of the zip examples to a .osf file osmand reads
the plugin in. If I extract the files, make a very simple edit, then zip it and
rename it to an .osf file, osmand is not able to import it. Sometimes an error
box flashes but it's unreadable.

I'm using 7zip on Windows.

The compressed file size is slightly smaller than the original example test
plugin zip.

Is there some other magic needed to make an .osf file other than renaming it as
the blog describes?

I'd really like to try this feature, but I have not been able to get very far.
