As Bart Eisenberg indicated, at the present time this is not an option in OSMAnd.
If you would like to suggest this change as something for the developers to add, then the way to make that suggestion to the developers (those of us in this email list are merely users, not developers) is to create an issue at the OSMAnd github issue tracker:
