Hi all,

Is it possible to run OsmAnd on ARM/Linux on X server (Xvfb)? I am looking
onto the same experience as on Android so Offroad (typical desktop
application) is not an option. First idea I was looking for is running
OsmAnd in Android emulator, but I couldn't find any that would work on ARM
(Odroid N2). Therefore I am wondering whether there is an option to somehow
run OsmAnd on X without major rewrite.

Background: I wrote a server that can cast any GStreamer video on to modern
car's headunit using Android Auto Protocol (
https://github.com/tomasz-grobelny/AACS). Now, the obvious thing to cast is
navigation like OsmAnd. However, as I understand OsmAnd is only available
for Android. Also my AAServer makes use of quite low level kernel
mechanisms to communicate to the car so currently it works on Linux (kernel
5.4+), not Android. I am looking for possibilities to run them together on
one device (preferably Odroid N2).

Best regards,
Tomek
