Hello Philipp.

Please check your setup again because I just did exactly the same
steps and Osmosis works fine here. I took osmosis-latest.zip from its
web site, unzipped it and renamed its directory to "osmosis-0.44".
Then I went to bin/ and changed wrong classworlds file name from
"plexus-classworlds-2.4.jar" to "plexus-classworlds-2.5.2.jar". After
that, I just run my own (previously used) .bat file which calls
Osmosis' one, with success.
My system is also Win8 and Java is 1.8.0_65 but that's not relevant
I'm sure. Check your classworlds renaming again.
