Well, I did it myself by using a maptile a few weeks ago, it worked well. I used trekbuddy (http://sourceforge.net/projects/trekbuddyatlasc/files/)
I did generate a tilepack for AndNav2 (supported by trekbuddy) and renamed every file with a simple command under linux to have *.png.osn rather than *.png.andnav After putting these files on my sd card, they were working nicely with OSN. 2010/2/18 steve brown <[email protected]> > This is something I've thought about - it's technically very easy to do, > but at that point we could be going against OSM's tile usage policy ( > http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tile_usage_policy), a policy which some > prominent people within OSM have suggested needs tightening up anyway. > > Steve > > 2010/2/18 Chris Andrew <[email protected]> > > Hi, Ben. >> >> Thanks for the praise. >> >> Have you looked at Issue 78 on the wiki?
