In that case it would be a good idea to have the WUI marked as deprecated on http://www.ossec.net/main/downloads and links to the alternatives posted. All frontends I found require the data to be in a database and/or are full-blown all-in-one solutions that aren't really suited for just searching through the logs. Yes I know, that is a primarily problem of how we are running OSSEC here and when I change our OSSEC servers to write their alerts to a central database it will go away.
