I'm trying to install ossec-hids-client-2.7-20.el5.art.x86-64 from atomicorp. I was able to install the server RPM just fine with rpm -ivh <rpm>.
When I try to install the client I received the following error: failed dependencies librypto.so.6()(64bit) libssl.so.6()(64bit) I've installed the openssl-0.9.8j-0.26.1.x86-64.rpm and when I run "openssl version" the system reports that openssl is installed. I'm assuming the ossec hids rpm is looking to a specific folder path for openssl and not finding it. I'm not sure what I need to install or modify to get the ossec client installed. I've tried to compile from source but its missing cpp, gcc, etc. and when I try to install all the dependencies to compile the list gets longer and longer. This server does not have internet access so I can't install using yum.... -- --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ossec-list" group.
