Hi,

I just follow these steps using the basic Solaris ISO image:

1-Install gcc:
pkg install gcc-45

2- Download tar.gz (version 2.7).
wget http://www.ossec.net/files/ossec-hids-2.7.tar.gz

3-Install OSSEC:
tar -zxvf ossec-hids-*.tar.gz
cd ossec-hids-*
./install.sh

4-Configure OSSEC.

That worked for me.

Let me know anything.

Mario
