Probably finding a liberaly licensed userspace samba library and wrap it in
an OSv kernel driver like I did for NFS.

If no userpace samba library fit the bill then a port must be done from
another kernel and it will be much harder
to do.

We have an NFS client that work fine. I don't tested it for performance but
functionally it should be ok.
