Listened and watched again last night... great speech. My fiancee is an elementary school teacher in Los Angeles Unified, and I was horrified to learn that her school - and many others apparently - depended on their notoriously shaky internet connections as they no longer have access to broadcast or cable (or whatever they used to use to distribute TV to schools). Needless to say, even with a single stream going in their school the stream was completely unwatchable, with constant rebuffering. She said they got about a 3 minute still of Aretha in her fine hat, and a few select syllables of the inaugural speech. Lame. I remember watching many notable events on TV in school - I certainly don't think kids should be watching the soaps, but it's a shame when kids can't take part in historic moments. Sent her to work today with a divx copy of the event found on ThePirateBay. _______________________________________________ OSX-Nutters mailing list | [email protected] http://lists.tit-wank.com/mailman/listinfo/osx-nutters List hosted at http://cat5.org/
