I've used DL for books and CDs, not comics. It seems to work best  
when it has an unambiguous reference source to dredge up information  
from. It's almost more trouble than it's worth when you have to sift  
through multiple Amazon listings (all without cover images) in order  
to find the one that most closely matches the item you're looking up.

The "scanner" seems to work better with my iSight than it does with  
the built in camera in the MacBook Pro.
