Oi! I have a twelve year old. She avoids HFCS. But she needs a computer, I think. My budget is tight. What should I get her?
She'll use a digital camera. She'll want to be able to burn dvd's. Web, email, games... Portable is questionable--does she really need to carry it somewhere in the next 4 years? She'll maybe want Powerpoint or something similar. And I haven't been paying attention for a while--my Macbook Pro has suited me fine for the past two years. (1) She'll be connected to my wireless network throughout my home. Not connected to a TV. Not connected to a stereo. Using a shared printer. Thanks, Jeff (1) I missed 10.5.
