Surly you didn't really think that a Democrat controlled congress was going to behave any differently that a Republican controlled one? The difference is that the Republicans have pretty much accepted the moniker of "party of the rich" and are predictable. The Democrats have figured out that they can hold a press conference where they talk about helping the little guy against the evil republicans, do the very thing they condemn, and still get elected by the hordes that think they are going to get a free lunch. I'm amazed that they can keep a straight face as the press laps it up. Did you hear about the provision being removed from ABC, CBS or NBC? I sure didn't. Then again P.T. Barnum was a Democrat.[1] so they have a proven model. Obama, OTOHm is different. He's been in office less than three weeks and has already collected more than $150,000 in back taxes from scoff laws and tax cheats.
