I liked Iceland. And I found the winning entry both annoying
and kind of retro, but disturbingly catchy. But I was really
surprised that both the Ukraine entry (with the naked legionaries or
whatever, and the incredibly slutty performance) and the German entry
(with surprise Dita Von Teese) didn't do better. Apparently, it is
about the song, not the performance - who knew?
Or maybe it all about the teenage girls, rather than
lascivious adult men. Which would explain the winner, but very few of
the other high scoring acts.
