Here one only has to infer the word "socialist" and half the country is automatically running for the armoury. The figures are plain and simple, as David noted earlier. The US pays considerably more for overall worse outcomes than any other developed country. But many seem to believe this is a price worth paying for the benefits of individual choice (or at least the appearance of such) and keeping government out of it. The Democrats have a lot to learn about "effective opposition" from the opponents of health care reform. They (the opponents) really have been quite masterful in advancing their agenda. mmalc _______________________________________________ OSX-Nutters mailing list | [email protected] http://lists.tit-wank.com/mailman/listinfo/osx-nutters List hosted at http://cat5.org/
