It's time to come up with a better way of delivering downloaded media to my
living room - for the past year i've been loading avi's up on USB drives
which plug in to my DVD player (USB port on front, DiVX support inside), or
in a pinch hooking a laptop up to DVI->HDMI adapter and running straight
through our TV.

I'd like to put a small machine in that can stream from Hulu.com (and other
Flash-based sites), iTunes (ideally), and a fileshare hosting .mp4 and .avi
files. If only the Wii would do this...

So what are the best, cheap options - I'm not a home theater monger, it
just needs to work... am considering a netbook, but haven't researched much
- I've heard some have enough horsepower for 720p decoding of h264 and
divx, which is all I'd need. AppleTV is nice, but without Hulu and DiVX
(last I looked) it's out of the question. Ideas?
