I use pitchfork to find stuff I would otherwise miss, but I keep in  
mind that they are like the old record store clicks of the 70's,  
elitist fuckers who think that anyone who is at all successful is  
automatically crap.

Looking at that list there's far to much rap/hip hop which I really  
don't care about at all beyond a few early albums. And it doesn't have  
any of the recent albums I really like.

Billy Bragg, Rufus Wainwright, Arctic Monkeys, The Long Blondes, or  
She & Him Volume 1 (Which I adore), and several others. But  
Radiohead's Kid A is good, and Arcade FIre's Funeral. No Green Day  
though? Bah. But that's how it is with Pitchfork in general.
