The OSX bit of the lists email address is about shared
history, not subject. OSX is how we met, and a common interest, not
the subject of the list. If you haven't worked that out already. I
regard it as basically a historical footnote.
Sure, OSX is always on topic here, and quite a few people are
likely interested in talking about it. But that also goes for
politics, national health care, Star Wars, philosophy, and beer.
