I thought that in Snow Leopard you were suppose to be able to do things like show the size column in search results. However, whenever I open up the view options in a search window I have most the things greyed out:

I particularly want the size and Calculate options. -- (...) people didn't seem to be able to remember what it was like with the elves around. Life was certainly more interesting then, but usually because it was shorter. And it was more colourful, if you liked the colour of blood. --Lords and Ladies
