Haha. I haven't done and hand editing of text files since I stopped using NetBSD when my old Performa 6360 died, maybe 8 years ago. Actually, it did work when I just entered the info in the Net Prefs. I thought I had to delete the 192… one. But just adding the two from comcast automagically got rid of the local one. Next step, permanent fix. But at least now I know what to google and should be smoothe sailing. Fingers crossed. Thank you Jared! And thanks to everyone who helped. You guys rock! Enjoy your weekend!
