Hi Mary,
I think this is not the first time someone reports a different behavior
between linux and windows for these applications. Can you file a bug
report at bugs.orfeo-toolbox.org, so that we do not forget to
investigate (and hopefully) fix this before the 6.0 release ?

behaving strangely. I am trying to segment a 4 band .tif file using
default parameters and the algorithm will run without errors, but the
output is simply the size of the tile (see screenshots). I can run
this on my windows machine and it will segment correctly. Does anyone
