AN INVITATION FROM THE COMMISSION ON STANDARDS AND ETHICS:

Please join us for an exciting workshop at the AOTA Annual Conference:
"Everyday Ethics: Ethical Issues in Traditional Practice and Beyond." The workshop
will be held on Saturday, April 21 from 2:30 to 5:30 P.M. in the Convention Center.
An experienced panel of educators and practitioners will discuss ethical dilemmas and
considerations as we expand our practice arenas
from traditional medical to community based settings (often working in both
simultaneously) and incorporate innovative/alternative practice models. Issues around
competency and implications for student training will also be
discussed while linking ethical issues to principles of the Occupational Therapy Code
of Ethics. This will be an informative and relevant workshop for educators and
practitioners in all settings as the profession grows and develops. We anticipate
lots of stimulating conversation among participants
and panelists so we hope you will be there!
