Good Morning: I just read in Advance that Medicare billing for in-patient rehab PPS is going to be based on the FIM. Seems like this is a great opportunity for OT to increase it presence and contribution in the rehab setting especially since many of FIM's areas directly relate to occupational performance.
Does anyone know if AOTA is doing any advocacy on behalf of this situation (Chuck, are you reading this?) :-).
