Hello,
I am not new to this list, but this is my first time responding.
I am an OT working with adults in an outpatient clinic and a hospital, but am toying with the idea of working in a school system. Your emails about being an OT mentor for schools is very timely for me. I would love to read what is going on in the schools, and the advice you and anyone else has for each other!
While I am writing I might as well ask some advice of my own. Since my experience is with adults (6 years in various settings), what might I expect if I changed to a school? What are similarities, differences, main diagnoses, etc.? I know I would need to bone up on sensory integration, but are there other recommendations?
