Hello Joe:

I will contact you later but for now I am struggling just with
documentation. I know it seems strange for an OT with 6 years of
practice to struggling with documentation but I am. I should probably
clarify that it is not just basic documentation about patient visits,
instead, it's about Plans of Care, Cert/Recert, etc. And also, who gets
what when. As an OT in private-practice, it's a whole different ball of
wax than working for a company.

For example: A DME company contacts me to say that they have a patient
that needs a w/c eval. They contact the doctor and get an order for a
w/c eval. I perform the eval and then what? Do, I write up my eval, plan
of care and send it to doctor for his signature? Is it OK to bill before
I actually get back the signed POC? These are the types of questions
that I have.

Thanks,

Ron
