Hi, Ron,

So, following the trail of your early morning torment with this list, I am
wondering...are we sending to the entire list or to just you? If the entire
list, I have a question to ask all. If just you, would you please forward to
the list?? Thanks!

I am desperately searching for information on 3 year old picky eaters and
trying to get them to eat. We are doing exploration with food right now, but I
want to up the anty a bit on one of the kids. What is a good progression??
Any suggestions would be helpful!! (one of my kids gags at smells...one is a
5 year old with an eating disorder...and the other vomited in the middle of the
night and Mom didn't find her until morning. She had had meat and veggies for
dinner, now refuses them...I can understand why?) I need suggestions on how
to get them past this olfactory aversion.

Thanks so much!!
Tammy

Hello to the first OTlist members!!

Well, the switch has begun.... effectively IMMEDIATELY, the OTlist now
has 32 members!! This is roughly 10% of the members from the OTboard.

So, lets get things started....

I am sure that some OTlist members are also members of AOTA's e-mail
lists. I don't want to discourage the use of other lists (I am also a
member of several AOTA lists), but I do want to add a note about a
significant difference between AOTA and OTlist.

In order to post to AOTA lists, you must be a member of AOTA. I have no
problem with that, but it does tend to make AOTA's list pretty
homogenous. On the other hand, OTlist is open to anyone with an valid
interest that want's to join. What this means is that there are other
disciplines besides OT's on the list and there are also OT's from around
the world on the list. The advantage - diversity!!

Just like always, I want to encourage everyone to self-promote the
OTlist. Perhaps the best way to do that is send people to www.otnow.com.
The web page lists directions for joining both the OTlist and the
OTboard.

Speaking of which, I suspect that the OTboard will slowly dry up and
blow away. It has never been very active, except for a couple of notable
topics, and with the exodus of myself and others, there will probably be
even fewer messages on the board. I have no intentions of shutting down
the board, but I don't plan on making to many posts. My primary posting
avenue will be the list!

Well then, welcome and "on with the show"!! And, for the love of Pete
(whoever he is), participate in the OTlist by posting messages!!!

Ron
