Agree with the notion of going beyond the numerical results of tests and answer 
to the "so what" of the data collected. Task analysis and task equivalency is 
what we are train to do best in whatever context the patient wants it!

  As  sister  professions,  PT  and OT are each taught to perform complete
  discipline-specific   evaluations.   Unfortunately,  function  knows  no
  discipline.  Insurance  companies  are  no longer interested in range of
  motion,  they  want  to know how a person functions independent of their
  impairments.  Therefore,  it's imperative that we are all well versed in
  the use of the most widely accepted functional assessment measures.
