Does anyone have any idea how to bill for iontophoresis? The code I have, 97033, just says electric current therapy.It doesn't take into account the cost of the meds. (it may or may not include the cost of the electrodes, but it certainly doesn't pay enough to cover the cost of those expensive butterfly electrodes I have to use for many patients!) I have a code for "special supplies", 99070, but Medicare pays $0.00 for that code.
