What do the logs say? Look in your syslog for OTRS' log, and look at
your SMTP server's log, if you have access to it.

Lotus Notes runs an LDAP server (despites numerous other tasks, for
sure). It is possible to connect this to OTRS. See the docs for examples
on LDAP, feel free to come back here with additional questions. At last,
