I think I can see how this would work for the compose answer reply form but the 
forward article form doesn't include any address book facilities. Thus I would need to 
use the compose answer reply form to send requests to my external support desks.  Is 
this what you are suggesting?

Define another CustomerUser data source and set this to an addressbook, preferably 
LDAP. Maintain aliases there.
