Chapter 22 FAQ Item 16: 16. How does OTRS scale and how big can it become? This is depending on the hardware and the enviroment you are using. At the moment OTRS is a one box system. With little work you can set up a webserver-cluster and you can split the database to a seperate box. We are planing to support some sort of clustering mechanism. But this is not the highest priority for the development. There are OTRS installations which handle 20,000 tickets (e-mails) a day and don't show any sign of stress. I don't have this personally, but the developers indicate there are some that do and believe OTRS will handle it just fine. It would be interesting to hear from others that are actually at this level. _______________________________________________ OTRS mailing list: otrs - Webpage: http://otrs.org/ Archive: http://lists.otrs.org/pipermail/otrs To unsubscribe: http://lists.otrs.org/cgi-bin/listinfo/otrs Support oder Consulting für Ihr OTRS System? => http://www.otrs.de/
