Hi all , I'm sure this question has been asked (and I have serched the lists and got the answer) , I just want to confirm if it is the right way.
Basically I want to move my system over to a more redundant system (Raid) , do I simply do a mysqldump of the database and then upload that to the new server? Will it be possible to use the backup/restore script provided to restore the various files onto the new server? Basically I want to run the backup script on Server A , and then copy those files over to Server B and run a restore on Server B. Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
