I've had a brief look at it, and it works neatly for me on this end as well. Nice one!
Used a clean 5.1.30 tree on RHEL 5.2, 64bit. I've only done some very basic testing, but so far so good. `make test` passes with flying colours too. Will look at it some more and get back if I find anything.
I see a comment in check_vcol_func_processor(): /* TODO: consider adding in support for the MATCH-based virtual columns */ Out of interest, what's your current position on that? Thanks, -- Erik Ljungstrom [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://northernmost.org/ On Wed, 22 Oct 2008, Andrey Zhakov wrote:
Hi Arjen, My patch is now put on ourdelta: lp:~andrey-zhakov/ourdelta/vcol. I managed to apply it using quilt and successfully test it on a clean MySQL 5.1.30 on Ubuntu 8.04 32bit. It'd be ideal if someone tried the patch out in different production-like environment. Please let me know if you need anything else from me. Then we can build it into say a MySQL 5.1 for the world to play with.
