Got it.

Our trunks were all PRI direct into Asterisk, no channel bank, just a CSU/DSU.

But yeah, that doesn't seem to support Mel's suggestion.

Understand: I'm not saying people shouldn't be scheduling their tests --
though I never have, and no one ever bitchedl you just gotta be professional
about the thing -- but telling people they must, and providing *even telecoms
professionals* with no visible means to acquire the number they have to call...

Nope; non-starter.

Jay for any of us who get charged are we able to send the police your info
to just confirm we were testing because of the alleged outage? Is that the
best procedure to follow to address these issues?

Seems ridiculous that we?d be charged for confirming if 911 service is
working for our clients.
