[outages] Verizon Fios Down, scope unclear

My home Fios connection in Sterling, VA, is down and online reports seem 
to indicate it's a fairly large outage, and their phone system says 
there is an outage that they plan to fix by 1:30am, though their website 
reports no outage in my area.  Anyone know more about what is going on 
or how large the outage is?
