Seems like a DNS issue. None of their DNS servers respond to direct lookup requests (a.ns.facebook.com, b.ns.facebook.com, etc), their self-registrar with NS records for the domain is down, and you can get an error page to load by visiting the last A record IP for their site (157.240.229.35) in a browser.
