Where abouts do iPrimus mention their "special" pricing for Macs? I had a look around their website and found nothing to suggest they charge differently.
If there was any reason to charge more I guess support could be the only possibility. But as we all know, Macs need so little support that they should be offering a discount for Mac users! Another idea for iPrimus...Hire someone who can support both Macs and PeeCees! Bizarre! Totally support the idea of using whirlpool to find an alternative ADSL ISP. I found aaNet from their searches and have never looked back. Airport Express into 512/128 ADSL and my home is buzzing with internet access! There isn't any reason that *I* can think of, though obviously iPrimus have some reason or other. You're quite right in saying the Macs are just as connectable as anything else, and I would have thought support costs would be lower as well (since they 'just work' most of the time - saving support calls...) You may want to take a look into the Whirlpool for some insights (or suggestions about other providers) : http://www.whirlpool.net.au/ Quite a good site for discussions about broadband in Australia. -- Matthew Hall -- Outback Mac is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Outback Mac list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/obmac.shtml> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/outback.mac%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
