Has anyone here been able to connect a HP Laserjet 4P (not a 4MP) to
a Mac (in this case a B+W G3)?
Could it be done using 4MP drivers and a serial to USB converter?
I have a 4M Plus (that is NOT a 4MP)... 3 actually, none of which
print properly, can't work out why... which connect just fine to my
B&W. If I remember rightly it's running on the 4M printer description,
as there is no 4M Plus descrtiption in the OS9.2 extensions.--
So far so good - I'm running this on OS 10.2.8 and it has 4MP drivers
there. But as to the physical connection... The 4P only has a "9 pin
RS232" connection and a "Bitronics parallel" connection.
How is yours physically connected?
A parallel to USB print server "plug" or a DB9 to USB convertor or
something else?
