Maybe we need to try another approach re: recycling old items & finding
them new homes, i.e. those who have a specific need for something might
post a "wanted" message. For example, I want a Norton Utilities CD-ROM
and a comm slot Ethernet card. And an 8.1 or 8.6 install CD. But where
do I draw the line? I also want a G3 upgrade for my 5500 ;-) and, as
it's a black one, I want the matching black ADB keyboard & mouse
(because they're missing :-( )
On the other side of the coin probably a lot of people (like me) have a
collection of handy bits & pieces we could pass on if someone
specifically needed something, but we don't want to get rid of the whole
lot. So don't be shy, ask and ye shall receive (maybe)
If anyone wants a comm slot modem I've got a few - ha ha ha he says,
they're not even 28.8Kbps - and possibly even stuff that's MORE useful
than that.
