Dear All,

Marvellous to see such volume once again on the list!!!

I pose an open question to this list - is there a possible project we could work on to put these old macs to good use in the community somewhere? Is there anyone out there who may have a project they are already dealing with or have on their mind that can make a suggestion?

The West Aust Mac User Group some time ago had a project going to send used older Macs to East Timor [I think]. Not sure if the project is still going but I'm sure they would be happy enough to take any serviceable Macs off your hands. I don't know who was the person in charge but send an email to the MUG and I guess it will be passed on. They had arranged free transport also so I guess that may not be a problem from the East Coast. I think they also had some members travel to E Timor to set them up.
