Software Lead Test Engineer Essential Responsibilities # Carry out manual and automated test execution, liaising with the development group # Ensure traceability of requirements to test cases; develop a detailed test plan and lead execution of test activities according to plan # Develop tests (both manual and automated) from detailed test designs complying with coding guidelines and test architecture # Assist in prioritization and analysis of reported defects and work with development to facilitate timely closure. # Serve as an expert on testing initiatives, Six Sigma methodology, and automation processes # Establish and drive testing processes, procedures, and testing metrics while improving quality to the customer # Provide technical development for testers # Collect inputs (customer requirements, test platform specifications, third party software, etc.) from requirement tools and develop manual tests from high level design documents # Write test plans and assist with creation of test schedules and documentation through out the software lifecycle # Provide progress reporting, metrics, and analysis # Interact with development and project teams in preparing key documentation such as Product Quality Plans, development and test plans, and requirement reports # Manage test data and test environments. Review tasks of Test Analysts / Test Engineers # Work with software testing fundamental concepts including regression, load, white box, black box, positive, negative, and boundary testing # Leadership role in creation and execution of QA and testing processes, Test Strategies, Test Plans and defect tracking and reporting system Qualifications/Requirements # Bachelor’s of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS # Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer / Analyst Additional Eligibility Qualifications Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
