Please forward the resumes to *[email protected]* Position: Cognos Developer Location: MD (Need Locals or who can come for face to face) Duration: 6 Months * 5-7 years experience in all areas of Cognos development from model development through complex report and cube development. * Detailed working knowledge of SQL including the ability to design complex queries to support the Report Mart. * Technical knowledge regarding best practices of Cognos configuration and customizations , Cognos Report Studio, Cognos Query Studio, Cognos Analysis Studio, Cognos Framework Manager Lead the creation of an internal ad-hoc reporting area and promote the concept of *self-service* reporting. * Serve as the BI Analytic technical resource. * Develop and document BI Tool set standards, guidelines and best practices and deliver these though training or other knowledge transfer. * Develop standard reporting Templates. * Perform gap analysis for new and conversion reports. * Work closely with Architects and Data modelers to address data gaps. *Preferred:* Any reporting conversion experience from crystal/actuate to cognos highly preferred.
