ETL Developer---USC / GC /EAD only Location: MC LEAN, Virginia Duration: 3 Months Description: * Design/Develop/Test CDS ETL jobs based on business requirements * Document ETL Specs, File Layouts * Assist DBA in Performance tuning activities * Assist in Business Analysts to gather technical requirements * Candidate will perform developer or tester roles based on project requirements. * 7+ years of ETL experience with SQL Server 2000 (DTS) and SQL server 2005 (SSIS) Unix Scripting * Auto Sys Job Creation * Performance Tuning to suport business intelligence systems such as Microstrategy and SAS. * Familiar with SSRS 2005/2008. * Strong understanding of database logical and physical modeling. * Familiar with SQL Server 2005 DBA tasks such as creation of tables, indexes, etc., * Familiar with SDLC life cycle methodology * Testing ETL Jobs * Prior Financial Industry Experience Preferred * Familiar with Clear Case/version controlling tool * Productionalizing ETL jobs * Familiar with Data Warehousing Concepts * Some travel may be required * Must have ETL SSIS and some DBA skills as well as Reporting Skills.
