Description: This DBA position will be responsible for providing off hour monitoring for mainframe DB2, midrange DB2 UDB. Oracle and WIndows SQL Server as well as problem analysis and remediation (starting and stopping databases as necessary). Applicant should be familiar with DB Artisan, Irwin, etc. Experience: 3 - 5 years of database administration experience, proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills, strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge, Skills & abilities: Unix Tools, J2EE, PERL, Shell and Java scripting Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science o equivalent work experience required, one additional year of experience is required for each year of college not attained.
