General Purpose of Job:
This position is accountable for leading SAP for the Americas as well as
MM/PP activities on a global level. It is the primary interface to
Management and key-users in regards of these SAP modules as well as to
consulting partners and SAP itself.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide strategic direction on all Finance and Controlling
applications as it relates to their implementation via SAP
1.1. Provide guidance and support to relevant Top Management
1.2. Planning and scheduling project requirements
1.3. Estimating and managing actual project costs and benefit
realization
1.4. Communicating project status and other project information on a
periodic basis
2. Organize and deliver support to all MM/PP related projects
and provide where necessary Senior Process and Technical Expertise.
3. Own and drive global standards in the area of MM/PP processes
and customizing
4. Provide lead SAP role for Americas Region
4.1. Represent SAP Team to regional Mgmt
4.2. Organize regional support coverage with regional resources
4.3. Organize to support regional cross modular issues
5. Contribution to the planning and maintenance of annual
budgets, tactical plans for group operations and participates in strategic
planning.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
1. Disciplinary responsibility for team members and
administrative responsibilities for key-users from the business, in
co-operation with their manager.
2. Set objectives and measures performance.
3. Provide direction to the team-members on SAP technical
challenges in regards of MM/PP and integration aspects to other modules.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
14. Minimum five years experience in SAP MM and PP in an
engineering, manufacturing or electronics business. Well experienced in
integration with FI/CO/PS.
15. Minimum 1 year of managing ABAP programmers preferred
16. College Degree.
Education:
1. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
2. MBA or MS in Computer Information Systems a plus.
Technical Skills:
1. SAP MM, PP
2. BI, FI, PS basics
3. MS Office, MS Project, and other desktop software tools.
4. Project Management Certification a plus.
5. Travel globally
