We are looking for *DataStage Developer* for *6+ months* in *NC* location. *Job Location: *Charlotte, NC *Duration* - 6+ Months *Job Description : * Primary responsibility covers the development and implementation of infrastructure & application configuration management tools for a large, complex and highly integrated environment consisting of 40+ different software technologies and over 250 lpars/servers. Tool development will cover the following categories: 1. Environment monitoring 2. Application capacity planning 3. DASD capacity planning & monitoring 4. Asset & License management 5. Estimation tools 6. Availability monitoring 7. Infrastructure Reporting & Metrics 8. Deployment scripts/tools 9. Automated build tools 10. Standards management around application, environment and coding standards. Secondary responsibility covers product administration for ETL products - DataStage and/or Ab Initio. Product administration covers the install, setup, configuration, production support and developer support. Experience with DataStage 7.x & 8.x versions and/or Ab Initio 2.14, 2.15, 2.16 preferred. Other responsibilities cover: Availability, capacity planning, performance tracking, and problem management as it pertains to production performance Manage resolution of all technical issues across all components and interface points. Ensure technical documentation and schematics are maintained and updated across all solution components. Ultimate escalation point for diagnosing and ensuring resolution of complex production issues. *Requirements:* *8 years experience in IT;* 2-3 years experience with application development in a data warehousing environment using ETL or BI tools 3-5 years experience with UNIX development environments 3-5 years experience with relational databases; preferably Teradata Demonstrated competency and an excellent understanding of infrastructure & application trouble-shooting & tuning.
