Business Analyst for Print on Demand Duration: 6 month plus contract Location: Andover, MA---Locals or Regionals Inperson Interview Business Analyst for Print-On-Demand The POD Business Analyst reports to the Production Manager and works with the Production Engineers, Development Engineers, and the Implementation Team to define client requirements for new and migrating POD Implementations. The Business Analyst uses several methods to gather and define business requirements including reviewing current documentation, interviewing functional and technical personnel, and participating in client discussions where appropriate. The Business Analyst defines, documents and validates new business requirement, assures that the requirements meet internal compliance constraints, existing client implementation constraints, and print vendor constraints. The POD BA works with the internal team to make sure they understand the requirements. Throughout the project, the Business Analyst will attend project meetings, report and track issues, respond to and follow-up questions related to the business requirements. Essential Duties/Tasks: * Acts as Business Analyst to document and validate business requirements for new and migrating POD implementations, process flows, and designs during implementations using our methodologies and past experiences * Interprets business needs and translate technical issues within a project making sure that business requirements handle constraints for compliance, prior client implementations, print vendor requirements, and system platform * Works several projects concurrently * Works with the Implementation Team and the Production Team management to design solutions for ad hoc and interim deliverables. Knowledge of Industry, Product, and Technology: * 4-6 years application software implementation experience and SDLC from start to finish. Ability to spot logical flow and system flaws. * 2-4 years working with back end systems with ETL, large data sets * 2-4 years experience in the financial services sector, preferably with a money management firm, servicing agent, or commercial data provider * Experience with print vendor XML files desirable * Strong skill set in Microsoft technologies (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio Education and other Qualifications * BA/BS in information technology, computer science, engineering, accounting or business * 2-4 years BA experience with deep experience translating customer requirements into written requirements to be used by development staff to code * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Initiative and ability to drive to conclusions Regards, John || Office: 916 646 2080 Ext: 212 || Fax: 916 646 2081 || Email: [email protected] || Website: <http://www.key-soft.com> www.key-soft.com || Note: This email is not intended to be a solicitation.
