Please Respond to [email protected] *Title: B**usiness Analyst** with Java* *Location: DELAWARE**, DE* *Duration: 6 Months* *Rate: $40/hr CTC ( Max )* *Job Description:* The eCommerce Technical Analyst position will be responsible for interpreting business requirements into High-Level Technical Design, which would require a blend of knowledge and experience in J2EE Architecture, Software Development Methodology along with Software Modeling and expertise on advanced Software Engineering Concepts. *Job description and responsibilities: * - Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis. - Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. - Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document), Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs). - Utilize your experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required. Required Skills: • 5+ years of *business analyst *in commercial large scale internet based commerce environments. • Hands on experience and expertise of use cases, requirements management, and system interaction.. • Understanding and experience with software modeling, including use cases. • Expertise of advanced software engineering concepts (*design patterns, SDLC, OO, UML modeling*). • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals. • Candidate must be a self-starter, motivated, innovative, and capable of mentoring junior developers. • Hands on experience with leading design efforts. • Effective communication with various audiences, including lines of business *Desired Skills: * • Previous *Web Development *Experience is desirable for this position. Familiarity with *Java IDE* (*like Eclipse/Netbeans*), and/or *WebSphere, Unix,* and databases is helpful.
