Position Description:*
- Expected to be a 3 to 6 month effort
- Must be immediately productive (within 2 weeks)
- Looking for a practical implementer who understands theory but has
experience implementing design.
*Requirements:*
- Must be able to think strategically and practical about information
architecture including master data, metadata, archival, retrieval, purge,
business insights, etc.; as this is a strategic position.
- Experience in successfully designing and implementing data
governance and quality including policies/standards/guidelines
- Experience in tying data, processes and systems into a business
model which supports system and reporting development projects
- Experience in successfully implementing processes that document data
flow between systems and raises alerts regarding impact
analysis, collisions
due to changes.
- Data modeling experience required
- BPA experience is desired
- Erwin experience is required/desired
- Any Oracle Suite experience is a plus.
- Must have a team mentality such that he is easy to work with and not
rigid due to theoretical dictates.
- Must be able to provide mentoring on the skills that are his
expertise
*Skills:*
At least 6 years of successful professional experience
At least 3 years experience in information management, including conceptual
and logical data modeling
At least 3 years experience in business systems analysis, including business
process modeling
At least 3 years of demonstrated leadership skills, including managing
projects
At least two previous group facilitation experiences
Strong interpersonal skills, especially listening skills
Ability to influence and persuade at all organizational levels
Effective written and oral communication skills
Able to deal effectively with ambiguity
Manages and resolves conflict well, negotiating win-wins
Strong analytical thinking / problem solving skills
Willing to challenge traditional thinking
Works effectively in virtual and unstructured environments with minimal
guidance
